Short Films about New Circus
The Polish director and cameraman Filip Jacobson studied in Lodz, Gdynia and Cologne. His passion belongs to documentary films, especially social matters and New Circus. Today, Jacobson lives in Cologne and is closely connected with the German and international circus scene, which he accompanies on film in their projects. For LA STRADA he has compiled a selection of his cinematic works on the New Circus.
The film program is part of the new format “LA STRADA SPOT”, which is being shown in two evening shows in Tor40 at Güterbahnhof. Subsequently to the presentation of the short films, Andrea Salustri will perform his show Materia in the Schaulust next door.
